ARE THERE ANY SURCHARGES?
In some cases, customs/import duties are charged once the parcel enters its destination country. These duties must be paid for by the customer. Suspicious Antwerp has no control over these charges and we cannot give information about how much this cost will be, as customs policies and import duties differ from country to country. It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for information on the current rules before you order, this way you are not surprised by fees you are not expecting.


WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA TAXES IF MY ORDER IS DELIVERED IN THE UK?
Extra taxes upon arrival in the United Kingdom can be explained as a result of Brexit. From 1 January 2021, VAT and customs regulations make a distinction based on the value of goods sent to the United Kingdom. The threshold is £135. Goods not exceeding £135 in value: The goods are liable to United Kingdom VAT. There is no import VAT. Goods exceeding £135 in value: The goods are liable to United Kingdom VAT. There is an import VAT of approximately 20%.
